A recent Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) has revealed in the year up to March 2018, 1.3 million women and 695,000 men experiencedWomen were four times more likely to have experienced sexual assault, and male victims reported a higher level of force than their female counterparts. In the last six years, the number of reported cases of domestic abuse has reduced drastically.
