In re Kench-Andrews [2022] IEHC 417 (High Court (General), Butler J, 1 July 2022)
The High Court refused an application for a direction that an Irish will was not revoked by a subsequent will executed in the United Kingdom, on the grounds that: (a) On the face of the UK will, it revokes the earlier Irish will and applies to the entirety of the deceased's estate, including her property in Ireland; and (b) there was insufficient evidence before the court that the deceased did not intend to revoke the will.

Costello v MacGeehin [2022] IEHC 442 (High Court (General), Heslin J, 23 June 2022)
The High Court refused an application to dismiss professional negligence proceedings arising from solicitor’s failure to issue personal injury proceedings for delay on the grounds that although the delay was inordinate the solicitors failed to establish that the delay was inexcusable and the balance of justice favoured the continuance of the within proceedings.
