April Child and Family Law Update - Now Available

The April issue of the Irish Child and Family Law Update is now available for subscribers of the Irish Child and Family Law Online Service.

This month features the case of John O'Meara and Others v The Minister for Social Protection, Ireland and The Attorney General. In January this year the Supreme Court held that a man who was neither married nor in a civil partnership with his late partner, was entitled to a widower’s contributory pension. The case summary includes insightful comments about the judgment and the constitutional definition of family which remains a hot topic in Ireland.
